What the free trial includes

Backing up your iPhone, reading, browsing and searching your whole history with its photos, videos and voice notes are free, with no time limit.

Exporting is limited in the trial:

3 exports in total.
Each export covers 1 chat.
Each trial export carries a small watermark line.
Only an export that finishes counts. A cancelled or failed export does not use one up.

The trial is there so you can check the output on your own data before you pay. When the 3 are used, the app tells you so and browsing stays free.

What "device" means

A device is one Mac that has Chatcove activated with your key. Chatcove gives each install a random id, not a hardware serial, and shows the Mac's name so you can recognise it. One key works on up to 2 Macs at a time.

How you get the key

After you pay, you are sent an email with your license key. It starts with CV1-. The email subject is "Your Chatcove license key" and it comes from hello@chatcove.app.

Taxes

The $9 price already includes any VAT or sales tax that applies. Stripe processes the sale as merchant of record, and it calculates, collects and remits the tax. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
